Well, there’s not much to say. I’m a fan of the novel. I was waiting for someone to translate it, but started to read the the Vietnamese raws, which I’m passable at. Erm, I won’t bother with the usual vague descriptions. Something something, arrogance, something, something, world dominating.

There is no set schedule unfortunately. Most of time I try to do at least 4 chapters a week and usually release around 10 EST or later. Sometimes if there is RL stuff I might only release one a week.

For example:I don’t understand how Chu Yang = So Duong. Is there any rule to it?

Dear translator, I’m going to be the jerk that says things other people think but don’t want to say. This may not pertain to everyone who reads, but I know it does pertain to quite a lot of people.
We do NOT want to have to suffer through your opinion concerning the story on every other page. (TLN: I guess I need to learn as well!) (TLN: useless) (TLN: So, he’s saying he doesn’t really know any Machiavelian schemes…. Could have fooled me)..
Please.. Just shut up. Your frequent comments are ruining the story for quite a few people, and to be honest, you really don’t have the right to jam your words in there, whether you translated or not, unless it’s to clear up something concerning the translation.
My words may seem rude, but they NEED to be said. Too many translators do this, and it’s ridiculously unprofessional and amateurish.

Fortunately, many more of us felt that the translator’s notes added flavor and humor, and we enjoyed seeing what he felt as he translated. The translator actually was “unprofessional and amateurish,” making outstanding translations on his own time for free, and you’re telling the guy to shut up and translate mechanically?
Go translate a novel and show how it should be done, instead.
